GETTING TO KNOW YOU...Don't Forget To Maximize This Blogging Benefit!
The other day, I had someone respond to one of my posts about the importance of blogging...in that statement the buyer made, I found the key to blogging that most of us overlook in our daily attempts to get our posts out there.
This individual told me that she was so happy to finally meet someone whom she felt she knows so well. She has been readng my blog posts since 2010!
Knowing this, I have begun to re-think much of what I write about here on ActiveRain. I need to really focus on the local information that most people look for on-line. I need to make sure the public is getting a full picture of what I know and how I work with buyers and sellers.
Getting to know you, the agent, is what buyers and sellers want in almost all cases, when they do a search--The most important part of building a business relationship is the rapport building that begins with the initial search for an agent.
Call it "rapport building" or "connecting"; it is the same thing and blogging gives the public a way to get to know you without the need to go looking at properties with random agents first. Reading your blog posts give them the insight they need into just who you are and what you will do for them if they select you---
Keeping this in mind as you create your next post is a sure way to inform the public. Blogging will give you the benefit of letting the public know the part of you that most people don't get to know unless they spend hours with you! They will get to know what you know about a location they are interested in---what better way to start a business connection?
What a gift, if you are able to express your opinions honestly and in a straight-forward way when you write a blog post!....This can give you a payoff that you can't get any other way.
- I have had sellers call me to let me know that they are going to use me because they have read my blog.
- I have had buyers, searching Google for an agent, tell me that they had no reservations about calling me and using my services to help them find a property.
- I have made more money from this form of marketing than any other source, including referrals from the city!
THIS IS HOW TO COMPETE AGAINST INTENSE COMPETITION
The competition here in Southampton and The Hamptons is so intense that if you have a way of connecting with the public by blogging, there is very little trepidation on the part of the buyer or seller---they do read your blog posts! I have never had such acceptance as I have from the buyers and sellers who found me from my blog, on Google!!!
No other agent has taken the stance that I have through the use of ActiveRain here in The Hamptons! I appear at the top of the page of Google every time I turn out a quality post! Remember: Content Is King....the opinions you express regarding the content is the place you need to focus to get the attention that pulls in business.
LET THE PUBLIC GET TO KNOW YOU THROUGH THE INFORMATION YOU PUT OUT THERE IN YOUR BLOG AND YOU TOO WILL REAP THE REWARDS!
